How the 24 archetypes are built

Each archetype comes from a combination of three layers: a core trait style, a motivation pattern, and an energy style. That means two people can both be creative, for example, but still land in very different archetypes depending on whether they are driven by mastery, freedom, or belonging and whether they recharge inwardly or outwardly.

This gives the system more nuance than a simple single-label type. It helps explain why two people can share obvious surface-level traits while still having different blind spots, different work patterns, and very different relational needs.

Thinker archetypes

Analytical, reflective, systems-oriented archetypes that look for structure, precision, and underlying truth.

Creator archetypes

Expressive, generative archetypes that turn imagination into meaning, beauty, or momentum.

Connector archetypes

Relational, empathic, socially attuned archetypes that move through life through people, feeling, and belonging.

Builder archetypes

Grounded, practical, execution-oriented archetypes that bring order, momentum, and reliability to real life.
